Dear fellow Chapter members:
Just saw the photos from the Spring Classic – looks like a great time as always, one of the highlights of the IFMA year when members, family and guests can get out and enjoy a day of healthy activity as well as build and strengthen their business and social networks. Congratulations to all the folks who work so hard every year to put this on, and special thanks to the sponsors whose support makes all the difference to the success of these activities.
Speaking of congratulations, I would like to take a moment to recognize the new members of the incoming Chapter Board of Directors who will be taking over in June. The Board has already been busy preparing for the transition. At the annual Strategic Planning meeting in May, the new and incumbent Board members will participate in an intensive day and a half of work to shape the course of the Chapter’s coming year. Among other activities this will include updating the Chapter’s Balanced Scorecard, finalizing next year’s budget, and focusing on each committee’s goals toward another successful year of engagement with Atlanta’s professional, business, education, and nonprofit service community.
Best regards,
Ken Bryson
P.S. As you read this letter, you’re also looking at a new look for the Chapter. The centerpiece of the new look is our new logo, based on IFMA International’s recently published unified branding guidelines, which the Chapter’s communications and administrative teams are incorporating into a freshly updated format for the newsletter, website and all other media as we go forward.
