We are now in the new year and IFMA Atlanta has lined out programs through May that you will find very worthwhile! It is a great mix of educational programs, social events and tours.
You need to mark your calendars for some of our upcoming tours for Facility Managers! We are finalizing the details and registration is not open yet, but as I have mentioned on numerous occasions, these tours will fill up fast. So make plans to attend these tours now. Below are the dates and locations of the tours that have been scheduled:
March 10 – Tour of Graphic Packaging
April 28 – Tour of IT Center Coca Cola – SunTrust Plaza
May 5 – Tour of Cox Enterprises HQ
I hope you can attend one or all of these tours. We will be sending out an e-mail letting you know when registrations are open so you can sign up.
The next big IFMA Atlanta event will be our Atlanta Workplace 2017. We have sold out our exhibit spaces and registrations are streaming in. We have some great speakers lined up and you can click on the links below to find out more about the speakers and sessions.

If you have not already done so, you can register by going to the Atlanta Workplace website.
Well that covers the educational programs and tours, but we also have the largest social event of the year coming April 19th, the 2017 Golf Classic. We will be at Chateau Elan again and we will have themed Golf Sponsorships at each golf hole and sponsors will be giving out complimentary food, drinks, swag, etc. We will have a Shot Gun start at 12:00pm. However, if you are not a golfer, then come on up and join us for the Wine Tour at 1:00 pm. To wrap up the day we will have an Awards Dinner at the Golf Pavilion. Click on the link below to get more information.
If that was not enough for you, then I have one more event to put on your calendar. On May 4th, we will have a special meeting for Facility Managers. The topic for this meeting is “Aware, Alert, Prepared! Preparing for Emergencies & Cyber Crimes.” This will be a panel discussion consisting of representatives from law enforcement, including the FBI, Invictus Consulting, and others. More information to come.
Many thanks to all the committees that worked together to bring you such a great slate of programs. Looking forward to seeing you at one of the next meetings.
