Matt Dawson will speak on Globalization and the impact it has on Facilities, Real Estate and other operations. As more companies are globalizing and struggling in the process, be sure to attend this informative session that will highlight things you never considered.

Matt DawsonMatt Dawson is the Operations Leader of the EY Real Estate Services group, an internal team that manages the organization’s office space portfolio (2 million m2 and related $1.1B spend). Matt and his functional managers lead EY’s Real Estate Lease Administration, Business Enablement technologies, Financial Reporting and Compliance, Managed Services and field operations support. A 15 year EY executive, Matt also served as chairman of the International Facility Management Association board of directors and was a founding director of Global FM. He provides ongoing FM industry leadership and promotion through academic conferences and international not-for-profit professional organizations. In prior roles, Matt was a director of EY’s USA Enterprise Support Services business unit. His team managed office administration, support services, creative services, tax compliance support, facility and asset management, procurement and security for 20 office locations in the Southeastern United States and Caribbean Islands. His prior work experience also includes nearly 16 years with the law firm of Alston & Bird LLP, ending his role there as the director of administrative services. Within the FM profession, Matt has been the recipient of numerous awards and international recognition. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University. He and his family (Lynn, Erin 14, Megan 9) reside in Atlanta, Ga.
