DESCRIPTION:Matt Dawson will speak on Globalization and the impact it has o
 n Facilities\, Real Estate and other operations. As more companies are glo
 balizing and struggling in the process\, be sure to attend this informativ
 e session that will highlight things you never considered.\n\nMatt Dawson 
 is the Operations Leader of the EY Real Estate Services group\, an interna
 l team that manages the organization’s office space portfolio (2 million
  m2 and related $1.1B spend). Matt and his functional managers lead EY’s
  Real Estate Lease Administration\, Business Enablement technologies\, Fin
 ancial Reporting and Compliance\, Managed Services and field operations su
 pport. A 15 year EY executive\, Matt also served as chairman of the Intern
 ational Facility Management Association board of directors and was a found
 ing director of Global FM. He provides ongoing FM industry leadership and 
 promotion through academic conferences and international not-for-profit pr
 ofessional organizations. In prior roles\, Matt was a director of EY’s U
 SA Enterprise Support Services business unit. His team managed office admi
 nistration\, support services\, creative services\, tax compliance support
 \, facility and asset management\, procurement and security for 20 office 
 locations in the Southeastern United States and Caribbean Islands. His pri
 or work experience also includes nearly 16 years with the law firm of Alst
 on &amp\; Bird LLP\, ending his role there as the director of administrati
 ve services. Within the FM profession\, Matt has been the recipient of num
 erous awards and international recognition. He holds a bachelor’s degree
  in business administration from Georgia State University. He and his fami
 ly (Lynn\, Erin 14\, Megan 9) reside in Atlanta\, Ga.
