Dear IFMA Atlanta Members:
IFMA Atlanta has been wonderful to support SkillsUSA at the National Leadership and Skills Conference that has been held in Atlanta for the past several years. In fact, I would guess that we may have had more non-academic or vendor specific volunteers than any other organization in Atlanta. We have an opportunity to do it again this year.
If you volunteer to serve as a judge in any of these Leadership Contests, you will also have access to theTechspo when you are not judging. This will get you in to come to the FACILITHON booth and talk with students and advisors from around the country who are at the booth.
I want to thank you again for your support and hope that some of you can find time on 6/24-6/26 to participate again.
If you are interested in assisting at the National Conference, please read the message below. Your contact person with any questions is Toni Decklever from SkillsUSA Nationals at [email protected].
“We always need judges for leadership contests! We have 32 contests and several are running in more than one room. I figured we need about 150 judges total. Some of the contest chairs have personal contacts or friends that help out — but that only amounts to about 30-40 people. Way short of the need. Here is the link to the volunteer form: SkillsUSA National Leadership Skills Conference Volunteer Interest”
Thank you,
Ken Stephenson
