SUMMARY:The Facility Strip-out\, Renovation\, and Improvement Project Proce
 ss - Avoiding Environmental Pitfalls
DESCRIPTION:Facility investments often include removal of outdated processe
s and equipment and replacement with new improvements. These projects incl
ude major strip-out and renovation construction activities. Particularly i
n aging structures\, preparing facility spaces for improvement requires en

novation project environmental pitfalls and associated health\, safety\, s
chedule\, and cost risk factors can be managed.\n\nIn this presentation yo
u will:\n\n1. Gain an understanding of potential environmental risks assoc
iated with renovating existing facility spaces\n2. Develop a comprehension
of environmental regulations that may apply to strip-out\, renovation\, a
nd improvement projects\n3. Learn planning strategies to address environme
ntal risks associated with these projects\n\nThis presentation has been ap
proved for CEU’s through IACET and CFM Maintenance points\, covering the
core competencies of Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability\, Proje
