DESCRIPTION:\n\nBio – Bob Viehweger\n\nTopic – LED Lighting – Yeste
 rday and Tomorrow\n\nBob Viehweger is the President\, and co-founder\, of 
 LED Light Energy\, an LED solutions company that works directly with end u
 sers to retrofit their existing lighting (incandescent\, metal halide\, ha
 logen\, etc.) to LEDs.   The company was started in 2007 in Dubai\, Unit
 ed Arab Emirates\, and now has offices in Chicago\, IL and Decatur\, GA. 
   Bob works out of the Decatur office\, which was opened this year.\n\nCo
 mpanies with whom LED Light Energy have worked include: Room and Board\, 
  Raymond Weil\, W Hotels\, IHG Group\, Kenneth Cole\, The Atlantis\,  Mu
 seum Park Condo Tower\n\nPrior to starting LED Light Energy\, Bob was the 
 Global Business Manager for Akzo Nobel HPMO which is part of a multi-natio
 nal company that makes high purity metals for use in the manufacture of LE
 D chips and solar wafers.\n\nBob is a graduate of Penn State University wh
 ere he studied economics.  He was a four-year letterman (soccer) while at
  Penn State.\n\nLearning objectives:\n\n	To understand the technical perfo
 rmance of LEDs and why they are superior to existing lighting technologies
 \;\n	To be familiar with current/future “high value” applications for 
 LED lighting and controls\;\n	To understand the commercial viability of LE
 D lighting relative to existing light sources\, and to be able to calculat
 e a simple energy savings analysis including payback and ROI.\n\nThis prog
