DESCRIPTION:Proper disposal of outdated\, broken or unused electronics is a
  critical\, but often overlooked component of most facility managers’ jo
 bs. Data security for physical IT infrastructure is crucial to protecting 
 your business’s integrity. Improperly discarded computers\, phones\, tab
 lets\, and other data-bearing devices are a principal source of informatio
 n for identity thieves\, while asset tags found on monitors\, docking stat
 ions\, and other electronic peripherals that have been thrown in a landfil
 l can negatively affect your business’s reputation &amp\; ESG goals. Thi
 s presentation will be an in-depth dive into topics such as the process\, 
 benefits\, risks\, and certifications of the Electronics Recycling &amp\; 
 IT Asset Disposition industries.\n\nBIO – ANDREW HOLDBROOKS\n\nAndrew is
  a Georgia Tech alumnus (class of 2010) that has worked as Chief Operating
  Officer at eWaste ePlanet LLC for more than 7 years. He has overseen the 
 creation of state-of-the-art data-destruction\, electronics recycling\, an
 d IT Asset disposition methods to efficiently process a wide variety of el
 ectronics – “anything that plugs in or runs on a battery.” Leading t
 he way in safe &amp\; easy eWaste recycling\, Andrew has implemented indus
 try gold-standard certifications such as R2v3\, ISO 9001\, ISO 14001\, and
  ISO 45001. This is all to work towards his goals of protecting clients’
  sensitive data &amp\; keeping potentially hazardous electronics out of Ge
 orgia’s landfills to provide a greener\, cleaner future for his wife &am
 p\; four children who reside in metro Atlanta.\n\nBIO – ROB PYECHA\n\nRo
 b is an alumnus from the University of Georgia (class of 2016) who studied
  Environmental Economics and Management during his time there. As a certif
 ied “Sustainability Ambassador” for the city of Atlanta\, Rob has been
  an outspoken leader for implementing circularity\, environmental protecti
 on\, and habitat restoration in business processes. Rob’s background in 
 hazardous waste management has served him well in his current position as 
 Vice President of Business Development at eWaste ePlanet.\nInsight Global
