Our guests for this meeting are representatives from our IFMA Atlanta Nonprofit Partners.  Prior to the Georgia Power program, there will be a presentation highlighting the work of the IFMA Atlanta Community Services Committee and introducing our Nonprofit Partners

Synopsis of Presentation by Georgia Power:

This training will provide an overview of the financial incentives available through Georgia Power’s Commercial Energy Efficiency Program. Participants will learn about specific energy efficient equipment and technologies that are eligible for commercial rebates in 2014, including lighting, controls, HVAC, food service, and reflective roofing.
The training session will also cover the following
–          Eligibility requirements and program application procedures
–          Updates on new incentives available in 2014 for outdoor lighting, variable frequency drives and Custom Savings projects that may include chiller upgrades and energy management systems
–          Other Program updates including higher rebate caps and specific rebates for LED lighting

BIO – Mitch Brown is a Manager with ICF International’s Energy Efficiency Division and serves as Program Manager in support of the Georgia Power Commercial Energy Efficiency Program. Since joining ICF, he has worked on Federal and utility energy programs as a technical assistance provider, grant specialist, and account manager. As Commercial Program Manager, he leads a team of staff that supports Georgia Power customers and contractors applying for commercial energy efficiency rebates across the state of Georgia. Mitch is a native of Sandy Springs, GA and received his B.A. in Environmental Studies from Colorado College and an MBA from Georgia State University
