IFMA Atlanta is aggresively pursuing a set of "FM Sustainability in Action" programs here in Atlanta. As part of this focus, we are upgrading the content on our Web site and will continue to grow the information and keep it fresh, informative and practical for facility managers.

Education & Career Development
Thje section provides both education and business support for our members. In particular, you will find information on IFMA's SFP Credential Program, LEED EBOM Certification and recommended Sustainability and CFM resources and readings.
High Performance Built Environment Best Practices
This section provides a growing set of case studies that identifies best sustainability practices in buildings. We intend to grow the number of available case studies in four categories: campus environments and institutional, commercial and industrial buildings.
Government Sustainability in Action: Ideas for Commercial Buildings
Georgia's state government (including the City of Atlanta) is focused on improving the energy & water efficiency and the envorinmental stewardship performance of the 15,000 buildings that it owns or occupies. This section aims to highlight what our state government is working on and identifies ways to leverage the knowledge being developed by connecting it to initiatives in the commercial & industrial sectors.
